New Year, Same Me
I can’t even comprehend that it is 2022. I recently saw a comment and it said that it feels like we’re in Season 3 of 2020 still. I felt that on another level. It also always feels like January is the longest month of the year but it is finally over. I know we typically set out New Years resolutions but I felt like this year I didn’t need to. I want to continue to grow and pursue what I’m passionate about. Life can sometimes get in the way of that but it is so important to stay mindful and focused on your goals. Good things take time and usually it’s worth it.
Instead of writing down my goals I decided to make a vision board. It is something I have been implementing every year for a while now. Not only is it fun and creative but it gets me motivated as well. I want to expand my business, more than I already have. I want to visit design conventions and gain even more clientele with people around the world. Most importantly, I want to continue what I’ve been doing.
I cant emphasize the importance of creating a vision board. I think its something everyone should be doing. You can make is so fun and easy, I recommend even making a digital one on Canva or even Keynote. Hop on Pinterest and pin away! Take inspiring photos or aesthetically pleasing photos. Take photos that relate to you and reflect what you want to achieve.
I, as many others, have worked very hard to have curated such a business. I had my fair share of struggles, who hasn’t? I am grateful for it all as it has shaped me and pushed me to accomplish all that I have so far. I hope that everyone’s visions come to be in this next year. As we wrap up January my team and I are really looking forward to all the opportunities that are coming our way!
