2024 Color Of The Year

It is no surprise that every year there is a color of the year announced from all the different paint brands and Nazeli Design is here to let you know how to utilize these colors. It seems as though the color in style will be different shades of blue.  Benjamin Moore announced that their color of the year is Blue Nova 825. This is a rich blue that seems as if it has a mixture of purple in it as well. Sherwin Williams announced their color of the year as Upward SW 6239 which seems like a bluish gray mixture. 

Blue Nova is such a rich color you can do so much with it. With its deep color you will never get tired of it. If you want to put this color to use but can’t figure out exactly where to implement it, we have created a board on our LTK shop to help guide and inspire you. We felt as though using this color in a wet bar area would turn out impeccable! Such a beautiful shade to create such a seductive space. By adding in other blue hues such as the barstools and countertop you can achieve such a vibrant moment for your home.

Upward from Sherwin Williams also possesses a lavish blue but on a much cooler scale. It feels almost icy. This is also a shade that can work with so many different colors you can't go wrong. We utilized this in creating a formal living room nook area design on our LTK shop. We’ve all heard of a formal living room area but not everyone has the luxury to create one big space devoted to guest seating so we decided to just dedicate a corner to it. This can be a great place to use dead space or a window area. It also makes for a great coffee corner for you and your friends to spill some tea!
