Antique Mirror Moment
We have recently been wrapping up a project here at Nazeli Design and I wanted to give you guys some inspiration for your next project! When our client came to us originally I was contemplating which direction to go in as their home was right by the beach. I wanted to still give it that airy home while matching the Spanish style of the house but I still wanted some elegance here. I decided to create an antique mirror wall.
We broke down a few walls and created a longer one where we would be able to put the mirrors up. We faced it towards the windows so the view of the ocean was not compromised but rather heightened with the mirror effect. This concept we came up with at Nazeli Design was to bring the “inside in” with the ocean view. I originally pulled the inspiration from none other than Paris. It was not just Paris to be specific, it was the hall of mirrors inside the Palace of Versailles.
The elements just drew it all in together and I could not be more content with the outcome of the antique mirror. This is the beauty in design, that we get to pull together ideas and pieces that you would never imagine would work together. Many would not think that an antique mirror wall would go inside a beach house but yet here we are. Overall, this was such a fun and beautiful project.
