The Paris Series… Part 1

My favorite place in the entire world is obviously none the less, the city of love. My heart remains in Paris. I have been a handful of times now and every time feels like the first. I feel like I should have dual citizenship at this point. It feels like a part of me stays there each time I visit. I know the show “Emily in Paris” inspired many of us but truly it feels like “Nazeli in Paris” when I’m there. One of my goals for our design firm is to have a project out there. Due to my obsession and experience around the city I wanted to introduce “The Paris Series.”

Paris is a dream, especially to an interior designer. As a designer sometimes it feels like we’re having a block and can’t come up with new ideas. It doesn’t happen often but when it does I know I’m due for another Paris trip. The architecture in Paris is among no other. One of the many reasons I love it so much is with all its historic arrondissements. I have seen quite a bit of the city but there is still so much I want to explore. One thing many people don’t know about me is that I love history and art just as much as I love design and architecture. I specifically love the history of France. It is truly one of my biggest passions amongst other things. I feel like because I know so much about the city I appreciate its culture even more.

Since I love Paris so much I have decided to start “The Paris Series.” I spend so much of time wandering around the city I feel like I can become a tour guide at this point. I want to expand my love for the city and my passion for interior design and integrate them into one another. I want to show inspiration photos and give tips and tricks on how I would design homes out there and also review some of the places I have been to. I feel like throughout the years I have acquired a good amount of experience and knowledge.
