2023 Interior design trends

We are so excited to ring in the new year! With 2023 right around the corner we know there are going to be new interior design trends. It does not necessarily mean there will only be new trends but rather current ones will carry over as well. As a full service firm we have a few predictions here at Nazeli Design that we see happening.

We definitely know that the monochromatic tones will still be trending. Neutral tones in particular along with roman clay and lime wash paint. Just because neutrals are in however it doesn’t mean color is out. Color has made one of the biggest comebacks. The green and blue color palette for example is very much so going to be continuing into the new year. I also think many clients are going to want to go towards more calm and transitional vibes.

The hues of 2023 I feel are still going to surprise us. Although the neutrals are going to remain, the new shades coming are going to make a statement with rich brown tones. Asymmetric modern pieces are also going to continue to grow. I also feel as though functionality is going to play a huge role in clients space plans. It isn’t that it didn’t before but I think every room is going to be fully optimized.

I also think that the marble trend is only going to grow. Continuing book-matching slabs achieves such a rich look and I don’t think people are ready to give that up. I do see more colorful veining being incorporated. Woods are also only going to continue to grow in creating a calm space. Brass accents are only going to increase as well. Brushed nickel is currently on its way out being replaced with brass. Lastly, I think arches are something we are going to be seeing a lot more of in homes as well.
