Welcome back to the “Historic Places Based On Your Zodiac Sign” series. We introduced part 1 recently with the zodiac signs starting with Capricorn to Gemini. We are back for part 2 for the remaining zodiac signs. Nazeli Design would never forget about the signs left over. Some are the best to come. 

We are so excited to announce that Nazeli Design was recently featured in Shoutout LA! It was such a pleasure to have our firm be featured here. It is always exciting to see your name somewhere and be able to talk about your story and provide some background. People only see one side of a business but once you speak to its founder there is so much more to it. I was able to explain why I opened up my own firm and an introduction to Nazeli Design. 

As we emerge into this new year we thought it would be fun to see which zodiac sign is best suited to some of Nazeli Designs favorite iconic places.  This is how we think your ideal space would look based on your zodiac sign. Let's dive in!

Louis Vuitton announced that they will be opening up their first hotel in no other than Paris. It is still under construction and will most likely be completed in 5 years. Nazeli Design is going to count down the days until its completion. They will essentially be turning their corporate office into this hospitality masterpiece which will be located at 103/111 avenue des Champs Elysées. People are already buzzing about what the views and design will entail. 

It’s officially gift giving season, a.k.a the best time of the year. This is the time of year where people are splurging and constantly need gift ideas to buy for their friends, families, colleagues, etc. Nazeli Design always has ideas brewing for you and have curated a chic and elegant holiday gift guide. We’ve seen many trends and ideas come and go this year but sticking to a classic is always the safest yet most useful option. Ralph Lauren has been around for ages and is never going anywhere, a true and simple classic. Luckily they have multiple categories of items but we love the home pieces. It’s elegant and lets be real, who wouldn’t want to receive a gift from Ralph Lauren all beautifully packaged. 

It’s that time of year again and we are feeling jolly and festive over at Nazeli Design. We wanted to touch base on the color of this season. You might’ve seen our previous blog post “2024 Color Of The Year” with the blue hues however the year is ending in a darker shade. A deep dark red is what has everyone gasping. rom red cherry mocha nails to maroon pumps all the way to dark red velvet home decor we are gushing over it. Red is a staple and sexy color but many people shy away from it but not anymore. This fall season transitioning into winter is all about this pop of color. 

We all know and love our king and queen, and yes we are talking about David and Victoria Beckham. How could you not be obsessed with them? Not only are we at Nazeli Design big fans of their style and taste but also their real estate portfolio over the years. We got an insight into their lives through the recent release of their Netflix Documentary and it sparked an interest for us as they seem to show snippets of their home. 

It is no surprise that every year there is a color of the year announced from all the different paint brands and Nazeli Design is here to let you know how to utilize these colors. It seems as though the color in style will be different shades of blue.  Benjamin Moore announced that their color of the year is Blue Nova 825. This is a rich blue that seems as if it has a mixture of purple in it as well. Sherwin Williams announced their color of the year as Upward SW 6239 which seems like a bluish gray mixture. 

Renovating can sometimes seem as an intimidating process as we’ve mentioned before but once you reflect and breakdown the cost it can seem more achievable. Nazeli Design is always here to make your remodel as seamless as possible. We understand that you just want to have more insight before you begin a tremendous process. There are multiple factors to consider when remodeling your kitchen. Styling an accent wall can be tricky and tedious. Sometimes you have a lot of room to play with and sometimes you just need some home decor to use as a filler area. Nazeli Design is always here to help and give you a few designer approved tips and tricks to help guide you. Looking out for scale and proportions for a project of this sort is going to be the number one thing to keep in mind. You don’t want to have a big empty wall with a small thin credenza and you also don't want to have a smaller empty space filled with bulky pieces. Finding the happy medium for what is best suited for your space is the way to go. 

When it comes to luxury you know who does it best. Of course we are talking about the one and only Kim Kardashian. If you aren’t keeping up with the Kardashians then you wouldn’t know of Kim’s recent $70 million dollar Malibu home purchase. We are so excited about it and ready to give you a break down at Nazeli Design. 

When starting a home renovation you could be wondering where to begin? It can feel overwhelming but the crucial thing to do is to curate the right team for your project. Whether that be with contractors, architects, or designers. You have to start somewhere and we recommend getting a few bids or quotes for the areas you want to remodel. 

It’s finally time for the Nazeli Design team to break down the home of the one and only Barbie! We have been waiting a long time for this moment and cannot believe it's finally time. The iconic dream house is inspired by none other than the original doll house and Palm Springs aesthetic. With its pink Barbie galore we are more than excited to watch the movie. 

Contrary to popular belief at Nazeli Design we don't specify just one style of design. Why would we do just one or two when we can do it all? We know that sometimes consumers are looking for a designer that specifies a more modern interior for example or more parisian looking projects and as much as we love both of those we don't want to subject ourselves to just that. 

One of the most iconic women has officially put her beautiful Malibu home for sale and we are here to debrief it at Nazeli Design. Every corner is so strategically curated we don't know where to even begin. First of all, the exterior of the home is stunning. It’s Mediterranean with almost a hint of Spanish style. We felt as though this mixture is what defines the interior of the home as well. 

Monaco is home to many of the world renowned people and places, also known as the “Billionaire's playground.” It not only houses many extravagant events but also holds such beautiful architecture and design. The state itself is also home to many legendary artists and designers such as that of Karl Lagerfeld. 

Whether you love fashion or design you love Tom Ford. Everything he touches he essentially turns into gold. As he is a connoisseur in many different subjects real estate and homes is among many of them. Nazeli Design is currently obsessing over Tom Ford’s London flat. 

Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge’s wedding has easily been placed into the wedding of the century. She stole our hearts on TikTok and there is no going back. As I'm sure we have all gone to do a deep dive of the wedding we at Nazeli Design were also obsessing over the design and architecture of where the wedding was held.

Los Angeles is home to many celebrities and outrageously beautiful homes. At Nazeli Design we recently came across celebrity home, Tinder founder Sean Rad and fashion designer Lizzie Grover Rad and the only word we have to say is WOW. The kitchen and primary bath took our breath away. This space was designed by Jane Hallworth and we admire every movement of this carefully curated home.

The interior design process is a question we get asked often not just by potential clients but just in general. What’s the first step? What should I expect? We’re here at Nazeli Design to give you a breakdown of our process. Every firm runs things differently so this is just what works for us. First things first, you book a consultation with us. During this one hour meeting we do a walk through of the space to get an idea of the scope of work and also get a read of the client. See exactly what it is they are looking for and the overall vibe and aesthetic. We then curate a contract to entail what each party can expect. Once we have a signed agreement it is then time to survey the space where we get exact measurement and prepare for the design presentation.
